1755 Haro Street

There’s an 18 storey 1971 rental building at this address, called Peter Manor. It covers a little over half the site, with an open grassy area and surface parking on the lane. It’s owned by Metcap Living, an apartment business based in Ontario with properties in several provinces.

We’ve seen quite a few infill buildings allowed by the West End Plan, but they’ve tended to be relatively small. This project (which seems to be with Starlight Investments) has 3-storey townhouses along Rosemary Brown Lane, and a six-storey building facing Haro, for a total of 61 additional rental units. Designed by BHA Architecture, we’ve shown the lane view that shows both buildings.
