1862 Barclay Street

Here’s a development application in the West End for an infill tower that doesn’t involve a rezoning. 1862 Barclay, Designed by Merrick Architecture – Borowski Sakumoto Fligg the new tower would sit behind a retained heritage house. The 33′ lot would have two units in the Mason Residence (the heritage house) and five in the tower. The house dates to 1902, and was first owned by a jeweller, George Mason.

2019 update – the site has been sold, and the project resurrected, after a six year hiatus.
